Τα γλυπτά της Εύας και του Αδάμ ζωντάνεψαν το 2016, κόπηκαν από κόντρα πλακέ και έχουν μέγεθος 51 cm και 46 cm. Έκτοτε έχουν επισκεφτεί πολλά μέρη στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, άλλες πόλεις στην Τουρκία και άλλες ξένες χώρες με την δημιουργό τους Selin Göksel (ζωγράφος, γλύπτρια και εκπαιδευτικός) και σκοπεύουν να επισκεφθούν περισσότερα μέρη.
Η έκθεση επικεντρώνεται στις φωτογραφίες των τόπων που περνούσαν η Εύα και ο Αδάμ στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και σε εκείνα τα μέρη που εντυπωσιάστηκαν στο παρελθόν. Ενώ είμαστε καραντίνα στα σπίτια μας λόγω της πανδημίας και δεν μπορούμε να ταξιδέψουμε, έχουμε την ευκαιρία να δούμε τα ταξίδια της Εύας και του Αδάμ. Πρόσφατα, αρνούνται να χρησιμοποιήσουν τις δημόσιες συγκοινωνίες στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και έτσι προτιμούν να περπατούν παντού. Αλλά όταν θέλουν να πάρουν λίγο φρέσκο θαλασσινό αέρα, πηγαίνουν στο σκάφος Beşiktaş-Üsküdar για 7 λεπτά και στη συνέχεια πηγαίνουν από τον Πύργο του Maiden για να παρακολουθήσουν τον Βόσπορο για λίγο. Οδήγησαν με αυτοκίνητα, τρένα και πέταξαν με αεροπλάνα, περιπλανήθηκαν στους δρόμους, γνώρισαν νέους ανθρώπους, πήγαν σε πολύ γνωστά και ιστορικά σημαντικά μουσεία και στη συνέχεια είδαν από κοντά όλες αυτές τις τέχνες και τις αρχαιολογικές συλλογές. Δυστυχώς, ορισμένα μουσεία και επίσης η Ακρόπολη της Αρχαίας Πόλης των Αθηνών τους αρνήθηκαν να εισέλθουν επειδή ήταν διαφορετικά. Μπορούμε όμως να πούμε ότι, αυτές οι απορρίψεις δεν τους επηρέασαν πολύ και συνέχισαν να εξερευνούν. Από τότε που ξεκίνησε η πανδημία, έκαναν παρέα με τους άλλους φίλους γλυπτικής τους, αλλά τώρα φαντάζονται να βγουν στο δρόμο για να εξερευνήσουν τους άλλους κόσμους.

Eve and Adam sculptures became alive in 2016, they were cut out from plywood and they are sized 51 cm and 46 cm. Since then they have visited many places in Istanbul, other cities in Turkey and other foreign countries with their creator Selin Göksel (painter, sculptor and educator) and they are planning to visit more places.
The exhibition focuses on the photos of the places that Eve and Adam took walking around in Istanbul and on those places which they were impressed in the past. While we are quarantining in our houses because of the pandemic and can’t travel, we have a chance to see Eve and Adam’s travels. Lately, they refuse to use the public transportation in Istanbul and so they prefer to walk everywhere. But when they want to have some fresh sea air, they hop on the Beşiktaş-Üsküdar boat for 7 minutes and then go by the Maiden’s Tower to watch Bosphorus for a while. They rode in cars, trains and flew by planes, wandered around the streets, met new people, went into the very well known and historically important museums and then saw closely all those art and archaeological collections. Unfortunately some museums and also The Acropolis of the Ancient City of Athens refused them to enter because they were different. But we can say that, those rejections didn’t affect them much and they went on exploring. Since the pandemic started they have been hanging around with their other sculpture friends but now they are imagining to hit the road to explore the other worlds.
